Maritime Morning with Andrew Krystal

Maritime Mornings with Andrew Krystal is heard each weekday from 9 a.m. to Noon on News 95-7 in Halifax, News 91-9 in Moncton and News 88-9 in Saint John.
It's a fast-moving, regional call-in show that discusses current events, politics, entertainment and authors.
Whether it's about the House of Commons, or aging rocker Rod Stewart fathering a child in his 60s, "Maritime Mornings with Andrew Krystal" often takes an irreverent look at life in the region and the world around us.
And, as Andrew will often show, the people around us can be pretty entertaining.

Tara Clow

I've always loved the smell of Maritime air, especially at 4 am.  That's what time I start my day at News 91.9.

I made the move to Moncton from Kingston, ON, in 2005. Since starting in the radio business in 1995, I have called many cities home, including several spots in Ontario, such as Owen Sound, Orillia, London, and Kingston. Oh and I can't forget my short stint in Trail, BC. I loved the scenery, but it was too far from home.

Jeannie MacGillivray

I was born and raised on the mystical, magical Miramichi, and after a few years away, came back home and started my career there. I was unleashed upon the airwaves at 790 CFAN in 1994. In 1999, I came to Moncton as morning co-host at Magic 104. In 2005 I was very happy to say goodbye to the huge bags under my eyes and going to bed at 8:00 pm to be the afternoon co-anchor here at News 91.9.

The broadcasting bug bit Allan after he volunteered in community television in his hometown of Truro, NS.  He developed his writing skills as a freelance writer and columnist for the Truro Daily News and other publications in the area. Allan's first radio gig was as a weekend newscaster at CHUC in Cobourg, ON, while earning a Broadcast Journalism diploma at nearby Loyalist College.

Cathy LeBreton

Growing up in the Sussex area, I always loved to read and write and was told on more than one occasion that I talked too much!

I think that's how I realized I was destined for a career in radio.

Richard Zurawski

I have, for the past twenty years, been involved in broadcasting on every level; as host, on-air talent, meteorologist, science reporter, producer, director, and writer. I was the on-air weatherman for CBC in Windsor (CBET) and later in Halifax (ATV) for many years and before that was a meteorologist with Environment Canada.

Natalie Fournier

"You do the traffic reports? How many times do you have to say 'Richard Zurawski' in a day?" Answer: You don't wanna know, my friend.

This is my first job in the radio biz! After taking a few years off after good old high school, and performing in various theatre productions, I decided to pursue a career in broadcasting.
