Local municipalities prepared for Earl

MONCTON, NB -Staff at the cities of Moncton and Dieppe, and the town of Riverview will all be on standby this weekend as well.

Crews will be on hand if flooding becomes a problem.

Paul Thompson of the City of Moncton encourages residents to call if they notice flooding.

In Riverview, Mayor Clarence Sweetland says in the case of an emergency, the town's fire hall on Pinewood Road will become a safety headquarters.

City staff in Dieppe will also be there to help.

Spokesperson Isabelle LeBlanc says their website will be updated by the minute with information throughout the weekend.
