MONCTON, NB - Codiac RCMP say speed and alcohol may have been factors in a single vehicle crash in northeast Moncton early this morning.
Police say a 40-year-old Moncton woman is in critical condition after a car smashed through a fence at a government garage and struck heavy equipment on Mill Road and Toombs Street.
She was thrown from the car.
A 42-year-old Moncton man was also hospitalized but is expected to be released.
Neither one is believed to have been wearing a seatbelt.
Police are still working to determine who was driving the vehicle.
