Dieppe/Airport Authority settle their differences
DIEPPE, NB - Now that the City of Dieppe and airport officials have kissed and made up, work will continue as planned on the extension of Dieppe's Aviation Avenue. The two sides were at bitter odds earlier this week after the airport's CEO told construction workers to cease operations on the road. Dieppe Mayor Jean LeBlanc says a meeting yesterday was productive and they've since ironed out their differences. The airport authority and the city have long differed on road construction priorities. As part of the resolution, the two sides have agreed to form a committee to look at accessibility and circulation needs in the area. |
