New vaccination clinics added in Southeastern New Brunswick
MONCTON, NB - New swine flu vaccination clinics are being scheduled in Southeastern New Brunswick, including some for the general public. A look at the government's website, www.gnb.ca/flu, this morning shows members of the general public will have several chances to roll up their sleeve in the later half of next week. There are also some new clinics for priority groups this weekend. The additional clinics may be in response to word the the federal government is shipping 1.8 million doses of vaccine to the provinces next week. New Brunswick's share should be about 22-thousand vials -- double the amount we received this week. Alissa Lee, the province's communications director for the H1N1 pandemic, says so far 128-thousand doses of vaccine have been administered but far more are protected because children only receive a half dose. |
