Burnt Church property the focus of intense investigation
ESGENOOPETITJ, NB - RCMP are conducting an investigation at a home on the Burnt Church reserve. The property is reportedly owned by Christopher Bonnell, a Burnt Church band councillor and uncle of missing teenager, Hillary Bonnell. RCMP Sgt Claude Tremblay won't say what investigators are looking for, but does say the 16 year old girl is still missing. He says forensic specialists and investigators will be on the scene for a couple of days. Hilary Bonnell hasn't been seen since the morning of September 5th. She was spotted on video surveillance at a convenience store not far from the house police are now searching. The chief of Burnt Church and RCMP are holding a news conference on the reserve this morning. |
