Positive results from Codiac Transit study
MONCTON, N.B. - Codiac Transit officials say they're pleased with results from a survey on the service. The survey's findings were presented to city council last night. John Allain, Codiac Transit's general manager, says an overwhelming number of people responded to the survey. He says the major issues cited by respondents are lengthy routes, too many transfers, and re-organization of routes. Allain says it's a very accurate depiction of changes riders want to see, and an affirmation of some of the deficiencies in the system. He also says officials would like to see a downtown bus terminal, but there is a question of whether there is land and funding available.
