Wildcats sidelined by flu-like symptoms
MONCTON, NB - Wildcats fever has taken on a new meaning after a weekend home game was postponed due to flu-like symptoms. The team's General Manager, Bill Schurman says the Wildcats didn't play yesterday because the team only had 11 players well enough to suit up. Schurman says those that were tested did not have swine flu. Schurman says it's the first time he can recall a game being cancelled due to illness and he hopes the team will be back in shape by Thursday's game against Val d'Or. |
