Moncton area clinics cancelled due to vaccine shortage
MONCTON, NB - There are no H1N1 vaccination clinics in Southeastern New Brunswick today. Details are sketchy as to why, but Marise Belanger of Regional Health Authority A says the clinics have been scrubbed because they haven't received enough vaccine. So far, no other clinics in the province have been affected -- but a provincial spokesperson says it's very likely that will change. People on line for vaccination clinics in Moncton, Dieppe, Shediac, Sackville and Richibucto were turned away this morning. The province's Chief Medical Health Officer and the Regional Health Authority are expected to have more to say this afternoon. |
