SAINT JOHN, N.B.- Three AIDS organizations in New Brunswick are calling on young people to take part in an online survey to gauge their knowledge about their own sexual health.
It’s an initiative launched by AIDS Moncton and supported by other AIDS groups in the province.
AIDS New Brunswick spokesman Stephen Alexander says the groups are hoping to hear from at least one hundred people between ages 20 and 29. “We want to do our part to see if we can help New Brunswickers have better sexual help”, says Alexander. “To be able to do that we need to gather the data that says where we perhaps are lacking in some of that, whether it be education or prevention messaging”.
Alexander says one of the reasons for conducting the survey is that sexual health centres were no longer accessible for people over 20 years of age.
The survey is available at surveymonkey.com until the middle of the month.
