LOGANVILLE, NS–The RCMP in Nova Scotia are investigating after a fatal snowmobile accident late Friday.

The mounties say officers were called to Gunshot Road in Loganville around 11:50 p.m.

They say a 50-year-old man from Pictou County was found dead after he was thrown from his snowmobile on a trail.

Police are investigting the cause of the crash.
