BOUCTOUCHE, N.B. – A 48-year-old woman from Bouctouche Bay has been arrested in connection with an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking.

On Friday, the District 5 RCMP Crime Reduction Unit searched a home on Desroches Road and seized undisclosed amounts of meth and marijuana.

The female suspect is expected to face drug-related charges, including trafficking, and will appear in court at a later date.

The investigation is continuing.
