MONCTON, NB–Codiac RCMP are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery early this morning in Moncton.

Police say a man armed with what appeared to be a handgun held up the Needs Convenience store on Elmwood Drive.

The suspect demanded money and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as being 6 feet tall, average build and was wearing camouflaged pants and jacket with the hood up.

He was also wearing a dark bandana and hat under his hood.

Anyone with information is asked to call Codiac RCMP and crimestoppers.
