MONCTON, N.B. – The Moncton Fire Department is reiterating the importance of having an escape route after a late night fire on Ayer Avenue.
Just after 10 p.m., crews responded to the bungalow to find extensive smoke coming from the home.
The fire was under control in about a half hour.
It’s not known at this time how much damage was caused by the blaze which is believed to have started in the home’s fireplace.
No one was injured.
