SAINT JOHN, N.B. – The price of gas in New Brunswick is down for the first time in four weeks.

The Energy and Utilities Board has lowered the maximum price for self serve regular by 1.3 cents per litre to $125.7.

Most stations are now selling in the $1.22 to $1.23 range.

Diesel falls 2.8 cents to $138.5 with furnace oil down 0.9 cents.

Propane jumps by 1.2 cents.
