GRAND MANAN, NB – The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre has ended its search for a 36-year-old fisherman from Grand Manan, who fell overboard while fishing lobster on December 20 in the Bay of Fundy near Grand Manan.
A coast guard vessel along with a helicopter and an aircraft from CFB Greenwood had taken part in the search.
RCMP are now investigating this as a missing person case while the Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the matter as a work related accident.
The name of the fisherman is not being released at this time until his family has been properly notified.
