IRISHTOWN, N.B. – Police say a missing Irishtown man spent a night in the woods near his home.

The man was reported missing after he was last seen at his home Wednesday morning.

He was found safe shortly after 2pm Thursday afternoon in a wooded area.

Volunteers from Greater Fundy and York Sunbury Ground Search and Rescue were among those who took part in the search.
