MONCTON, NB – The general manager of Codiac Transpo has announced his retirement.
After 32 years as head of Greater Moncton’s transit system, John Allain will retire on Friday.
City Manager Jacques Dube says Allain delayed his retirement in order to ensure a positive and strategic outcome in the Codiac Transpo lockout.
Angela Allain will become acting general manager following his retirement.
She has worked for Codiac Transpo since 1991 and had been director of operations since 1995.
