SACKVILLE, N.B. – RCMP divers along with members of the Sackville Fire Department are searching a section of the Tantramar River today for clues in connection to the disappearance of 20 year-old Christopher Metallic.

Footwear worn by Metallic was found in the area after he went missing on November 25th.

Heavy equipment has been brought in to help break up the ice in the river.

Members of the Moncton Fire Department brought in their hovercraft over the weekend to help in the search.

Metallic is described as Aboriginal, 6′ and 180 lbs with short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen early November 25 after leaving a house party in Sackville.
