MONCTON, NB – An RCMP forensic expert has testified in the first degree murder trial of Fred Prosser.
Joy Kearsey testified she analyzed numerous swabs taken from the truck owned by Prosser and pieces of clothing taken from Prosser’s home.
Court heard blood taken from a pair of jeans matched both Prosser and Sabrina Patterson.
DNA from the boxliner of Prosser’s truck also matched DNA belonging to Patterson.
The Crown has wrapped up its case and court has adjourned for the day.
The defence could begin its case tomorrow morning.
Thirty-three-year-old Prosser is charged with first degree murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend Sabrina Patterson.
