OAKVILLE, ON – The Weather Network is predicting a more traditional winter for the Maritimes this year.

Meteorologist Gina Ressler says conditions are expected to be mostly unsettled over the next three months.

“Probably a little bit more of those east coast lows with maybe more of a northerly track.  So we’re expecting those east coast lows to pull in that moisture from the Atlantic and give us those warm temperatures as well.”

Ressler adds because temperatures are expected to be above normal, much of the precipitation could fall as rain rather than snow.
