MONCTON, N.B. -  The trial in the Sabrina Patterson case will begin again this morning with opening statements from the Crown

A 12 member jury was selected  yesterday at the Moncton Coliseum in the first degree murder trial of Fred Prosser.

Prosser is accused of the 2010 killing of Patterson, who was his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his two young children.

A mistrial was declared in July, after it was discovered that one of the jurors had posted comments on an anti-Prosser Facebook page.

Along with first-degree murder, the 33 year-old Albert County man is also facing charges of sexual assault and sexual assault causing bodily harm.

The trial could last up to five weeks.
