MONCTON, NB–A 31-year-old Sainte-Marie-de-Kent man is now facing more charges in connection with a fourth reported attack on a woman in the Hub City.
Akili Olivier Koro appeared in a Moncton courtroom yesterday and was charged with sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm and public mischief.
Koro is already facing several other charges including kidnapping and confinement in connection with three more incidents that reportedly occurred in March, September and last month.
RCMP say four woman have come forward claiming that that they got into a man’s car between midnight and 3am, on St. George Street in Moncton, and were taken to another location where they say they were assaulted.
A judge ruled yesterday that Koro will remain in custody.
