DIEPPE, NB–Dieppe City Council hopes to hold the line on taxes for 2013, while investing in three major projects for the community.

The first of four planned budget meetings was held last night.

The almost $10.4 million capital works budget includes financials for a secondary fire hall, a new municipal urban planning department,  major upgrades to roadways, and several other smaller projects.

Budget discussions will continue today in Dieppe Council Chambers.
