Police in Abbotsford, B.C. believe that 61 year-old Stephen Edgar McCreary may be in New Brunswick.

Constable Ian MacDonald says the suspect has family in the province.

“He’s accused of some pretty heinous crimes that were alleged to have occurred over the course of a rather long period of time, that involved some serious assaults and 13 counts of sexual assault.”

MacDonald says it’s believed McCreary fled B.C. when he became aware of a police investigation involving him.
