The crew from Riverview was able to rescue the women, a mother and daughter,  with their boat.

Moncton’s new hovercraft and helicopter from CFB Greenwood in Nova Scotia were on scene, but were not needed.

The mother is in New Brunswick visiting her daughter, who is a student in Fredericton.

Both are reported in good condition, although shaken up.
