MONCTON, NB–The colder weather has begun, and winter is only about a month away. Moncton Headstart has begun collecting coats for children in needs.
The agency is looking for the donation of up to 400 coats, snowsuits, hats, mittens, scarves and boots.
The winter clothing should be in good condition and they can be dropped off at one of several locations including at the Headstart on Mountain Road, Jean Coutu and at the Co-op Centre Food Market on Mapleton Road.
If your family is in need of winter clothing, you are asked to line up at the agency on November 3rd before 9am.
Any leftover clothing will be donated to another organization in need.
