MONCTON, NB – A piece of paper worth a million dollars may be sitting in someone’s junk drawer today… but as of midnight tonight, it will be worthless.
A winning Atlantic 49 ticket purchased in Moncton for a draw on October 12th of last year was a one million dollar winner.
So far, no one has come forward to claim the prize.
ALC says if the deadline passes without a winner, the money goes into an unclaimed prize fund and will be handed out in the form of additional prizes or bonuses.
Some of the money is also returned as profits to the four Atlantic provinces.
