MONCTON, N.B. – A Moncton man is now in custody in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
25 year-old Christopher William James Fergusson had been wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with a stabbing in Moncton on May 11.
A 33 year-old man was seriously injured following the incident at a home on Highfield Street.
Fergusson was wanted on charges of break and enter with intent of committing aggravated assault, and possessing a dangerous weapon.
He is expected to appear in court in St. John’s today.
