MONCTON, N.B. – The Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue team spent the better part of yesterday combing the bushes of Moncton’s Centennial Park.
They were looking for 29 year-old Alanna Greene, who was last seen Sunday evening on Mountain Road near Killam Drive.
Codiac RCMP say they are following up on a number of tips, including one in which Greene may have been spotted in the park.
A family friend who took part in the search posts on facebook that a grounds keeper spotted a woman sleeping next to the pond and that she ran off when he approached her.
Greene is described as 5’4″, weighing 135 lbs, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone has information about Alanna Greene is asked to contact Codiac RCMP at 857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at -888-222-TIPS (8477).
