MONCTON, N.B. – Doctors Without Borders is looking for both medical and non-medical workers for upcoming sessions as it holds an information and recruitment session in Moncton tonight.

Anne MacKinnon is a nurse from Fredericton who has worked with the organization.

The work is often in famine or drought-stricken countries, and MacKinnon says it’s not for everyone.

“You get to see the sights and smell the smells and live in the circumstances and see the people.  So you get an idea of whether you can do it.”

MacKinnon has worked for Doctors Without Borders in countries such as India, Liberia and Ethiopia.

Tonight’s information session is being held at the Moncton Public Library at 7pm.
