MEMRAMCOOK, NB– A 42-year-old man from Memramcook, has been charged in connection with a shooting in the community earlier this year.

Alan Leblanc appeared in Moncton Provincial Court yesterday and has been charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm and unsafe storage of a firearm.

RCMP say they responded to a 911 call on February 27 about shots being fired at a home at about 9:30 p.m.

They say no one was injured, although the homeowners were inside at the time.

Leblanc is scheduled to appear in court again on September 18 to enter a plea.
