SAINT JOHN – A father and son from Rothesay arrested this week in a large drug bust will both remain in prison until their next court appearance.

50-year-old Joseph Henri Lambert and 29-year-old Andrew Brian Lambert appeared in court today to face mostly drug charges in connection with Monday’s arrests.

Saint John Police, the RCMP and the Canada Border Services Agency searched two locations in Saint John and another in Rothesay, and seized four hundred prescription pills, a half-pound of cocaine, various other drugs, a semi-automatic handgun and over ten thousand dollars in cash.

The Lamberts have been remanded and will be back in court September 19th for election and plea.

Five other people arrested will appear in court at a later date.

Police say all of the arrests followed a five-month investigation.
