DIEPPE, NB–Residents in the City of Dieppe who spot smoke today and tomorrow are asked not to panic.

The City is conducting smoke testing on sanitary sewers on Chartersville Road, between Dieppe Boulevard and Canaan Street.  Smoke could be spotted coming from building vents, roof drains or holes in the ground.

The tests help to identify possible defects in the lines and improve the sewer system.
