MONCTON, N.B. – A 19 year-old man has been sentenced in a stabbing which took place in downtown Moncton last year.

Daniel Austin Perry of Moncton changed his plea to guilty last month on several charges, including assault with a knife.

Perry was sentenced to two years in jail with credit for time served, meaning he will spend another seven months behind bars before being released.

Nathan Johnson was injured in the broad daylight attack in Robinson Court in April 2011.
