MONCTON, NB – A 26-year-old man who pleaded guilty to the second degree murder of an inmate at the Shepody Healing Centre in Dorchester almost two years ago, will learn his fate next week.

Joshua Terry appeared in court yesterday for a sentencing hearing via video conference from a special handling unit in Quebec.

In April, Terry admitted to killing 44-year-old Daniel Pepin on September 10, 2010.

Terry has also pleaded guilty to six other charges in connection with a separate incident at the Lakeside Kwik-Way Convenience store in August of 2010.

A clerk was taken hostage during an armed robbery at the store on Biddington Avenue.

The judge adjourned his decision until August 22nd.
