MONCTON, NB–A well known children’s performer will be in Moncton today as part of a Universite de Moncton summer program on the rights of the child.

64-year-old Raffi Cavoukian will address participants who are taking part in the 10 day international course at the University.  It got underway on August 8th, and was organized by the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate as well as the New Brunswick government.

Raffi’s keynote address is called “Child Honouring: A Universal Ethic.”  He left the limelight over ten years ago to focus on his work as a child and youth advocate.

Raffi will deliver his address tonight at 7pm in the Jeanne De Valois building on the U de M campus.
