MONCTON, NB – The Moncton Wildcats training camp opens this  morning with  60 new and returning players.

The end of the camp next week, they will be whittled down to a roster of 25 players.

Team spokesman Ryan Jenner says they’re excited to have Alex and Allain Saulnier returning this season……

“They’re going to be 20 years old this year and will be big leaders on the team and it will be good to have them back.”  says Jenner.

He says they’re also interested to see what their new acquisitions from Shawinigan can bring to the table…

“They’ve got Memorial Cup experience, so it’s exciting to have them in.” says Jenner.

There will be inter-squad games going on all week at the Redball Internet Centre.

They are open to the public.

The Wildcats first preseason exhibition game goes Saturday night at 7 p.m.

They host Acadie Bathurst.
