ST. MARGARET’S, NB – One man is dead after a two vehicle collision on highway 11 in the St. Margaret’s area.

RCMP say a car travelling northbound lost control and collided with a southbound pick-up truck towing a trailer shortly before 1:30 p.m.

The male driver and sole occupant of the car died at the scene.

A man and a woman in the pick-up truck were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Highway 11 is closed between Miramichi and the exit to Kouchibouguac National Park while investigators look into the cause of the crash.
