MONCTON, NB–Close to 400 athletes from the four Atlantic provinces competed over the weekend at the 2012 Atlantic Championships Track and Field meet at Moncton 2010 Stadium.

Despite the heat, 34 New Brunswick records were broken.  17 by men and the other 17 by women.

This is the second year that the event has been held in the Hub City.
