SAINT JOHN, N.B. – An online campaign is underway to help cover legal costs for the President of the Saint John Bacchus Motorcycle Club.

Www.freematt.ca asks you to make a donation, in support of Matthew Thomas Foley, via a PayPal account.

The website states that all money raised will go toward Foley’s legal fees and if there are extra funds raised, it will be held “in trust” for him, by the Bacchus, to help him get re-established when he is free.

Foley pleaded guilty to manslaughter last week, in connection to a fatal shooting in front of the Bacchus motorcycle clubhouse, on Pitt Street, in July.
