SAINT JOHN, N.B. – A bit of history has been unearthed in Saint John.
Construction crews discovered century old street car tracks at the intersection of Rothesay Avenue and Thorne Avenue while working on the Harbour Clean Up Project.
Andrew Melanson works with Crandell Engineering and says the discovery won’t impact the Habour Clean Up project too much.
“There will be a bit of a delay as they have to remove some of the track in order to install the pipe they need to put underground.”
Melanson says he doesn’t know where the tracks will be transported to.
