MONCTON, NB – A man who murdered a Moncton teen 25-years ago goes before the national parole board today.
Patrice Maillioux is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Laura Ann Davis, who was just 16 when she was shot in a convenience store robbery in the hub city.
The victim’s father, Ron Davis is among those objecting to his release and says he doubts Mailloux will ever change…
“I’ve never seen any apology for what happened. He’s never really admitted any guilty and he’s committed all kinds of problems inside the institute.” says Davis.
Several members of the Davis family have submitted victim impact statements which they will read at today’s hearing in Laval, Quebec.
