MONCTON, NB -  As the Codiac Transpo lockout continues, a seniors advocate is calling on the city to do what it takes to get the buses back on the road.

Cecile Cassista, of the Coalition for Seniors and Nursing Home Residents’ Rights says not being able to use the bus has caused a lot of hardship for seniors in Greater Moncton…

“They’re not able to get out and do their shopping or go to medical appoints and that’s going to have an affect on their health at some point.” says Cassista.

The city locked out Codiac Transpo drivers, mechanics and servicemen one month ago today.

The two sides remain at odds over wages and scheduling.
