SAINT JOHN, NB – Seven Saint John radio station workers who’ve been on strike for more than a month are starting their own, online radio station.
The MBS Radio employees walked off the job after failing to negotiate a first contract with Halifax-based radio chain.
On Wednesday they’ll officially launch www.radiofreesaintjohn.fm.
The president of their bargaining unit, Gary Stackhouse says the seven striking employees have really missed being on the air.
