FREDERICTON, N.B. – Ted Flemming is officially an MLA.
The conservative was sworn as the MLA for Rothesay at 3 p.m. in Fredericton.
Flemming won the June by-election by nearly 300 votes.
He will replace Margaret Ann Blaney, who resigned in May.
Flemming is staying true to his family’s political roots: his grandfather and great-grandfather were both New Brunswick premiers.
