MONCTON, NB–Jury selection is officially underway at the Moncton Coliseum in the trial of Fred Prosser, a Shenstone man accused of killing  a 25-year-old Riverview woman.  She went missing in October of 2010, and her body was found about a week later.

We are not releasing the name of the victim because a publication ban is in place.  However the judge is expected to rule today on whether or not the ban will remain.

A 12-member- jury will be selected from the more than 300 people summoned to appear.

Five weeks has been put aside for the case.
