SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Appearing in shackles, 50 year old Matthew Thomas Foley was in court this afternoon in connection to a fatal shooting on Pitt Street Saturday night.
The president of the Bacchus Motorcycle Club has been charged with 2nd degree murder in the death of 31-year old Michael Thomas Schimpf.
Lawyer Rodney MacDonald says the biker club is rallying around its’ president.
Foley has been remanded until his next court date on August 15th.
