MONCTON, NB – A busy afternoon for Moncton firefighters with several calls in a matter of hours.
Fire crews were called to put out a blaze on Killam Drive when two vehicles caught fire following a collision around 3:30.
No one was hurt.
A motor vehicle collision at High and John Streets sent two people to hospital with injuries around 1:30.
Crews were also called to 700 McLaughlin Drive around 12:30 for a fire in the basement of a house.
It’s believed no one was home at the time and no word on a cause.
At around the same time, firefighters were called to 130 Sandalwood Drive after a report of smoke in a home possibly from burning plastic.
