MONCTON, NB–A couple from Moncton plan to cycle from the North to the East point of Prince Edward Island this summer, in the hopes of raising money and awareness of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
Tim Doucette is legally blind and his wife Amanda is visually impaired. They plan to bike almost 300 kilometres, across the Island, over seven days. Their ride will begin on July 27th.
Their goal is to raise $5000. They’re off to a headstart, with $1500 collected already.
